Itinerary
Alexandria layover tour
Your guide meets you at Borg El Arab Airport. You start at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with its great reading hall, the Sadat museum and the Impressions of Alexandria exhibition. After an optional lunch at a seafood restaurant or a traditional Alexandrian eatery, and perhaps a coffee in a local cafe, you walk through the narrow lanes of the Mansheya market and the gold market. Across the road is the Eastern Harbor, where fishermen mend their nets beside wooden boats. You end at the Qaitbay Citadel and the gardens of Montaza before returning to the airport.
