Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and the Sound and Light Show
Our representative meets you at Cairo Airport, helps with entry formalities and introduces you to your guide, who takes you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you watch the Sound and Light Show at the Giza pyramids, as the story of the pharaohs is told in light and sound.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your guide takes you to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, built during the 4th Dynasty, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 3: The Egyptian Museum, the Citadel and the Royal Mummies
You start at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, open since 1902, then drive up to the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. After lunch you visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and its hall of royal mummies.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 4: Fly home
A relaxed breakfast, then a transfer to Cairo International Airport with help at check-in.
