Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at your arrival gate, helps with passport control, your visa and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with a buffet, a folk band and the whirling Tanoura dance.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, fly to Luxor
Your private Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Plateau: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the queens’ pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After lunch you visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. In the evening you fly to Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor West Bank
Your guide takes you to the Valley of the Kings, where the great kings and queens of the New Kingdom were buried, the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, with a boat ride across the Nile.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 4: Karnak and Luxor Temple, fly to Cairo
After check-out you visit Karnak, known in antiquity as Ipet-isut, “the most select of places”, and Luxor Temple. After lunch you fly back to Cairo.

Day 5: Day trip to Alexandria
After an early breakfast you drive with your guide to Alexandria. You explore the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, a three-level Roman necropolis from the 2nd century AD, Pompey’s Pillar, the Qaitbay Citadel on the site of the ancient lighthouse, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with lunch along the way. You return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 6: Free day in Cairo
A day at your own pace. Relax at the hotel, or ask us to arrange a visit to Khan el-Khalili, the Grand Egyptian Museum or Coptic Cairo.

Day 7: Fly home
After breakfast our representative takes you to Cairo International Airport and helps with check-in.

How much does the 7-day Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria tour cost?
It depends on group size: $5,000 per person for a solo traveler, $4,500 each for 2 to 3, $4,200 for 4 to 8, $3,800 for 9 to 15 and $2,300 for 16 or more.
Is a hotel stay in Luxor better than a Nile cruise?
It depends on your style. Hotels give you more flexibility and quieter evenings; a cruise adds Edfu and Kom Ombo and the experience of sailing. We offer both.
What can I do on the free day?
Popular choices are the Grand Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo, the Citadel or shopping in Khan el-Khalili. Your guide and driver are available if you book the day before.
Can I add Abu Simbel?
Yes, by flying from Luxor to Aswan and adding a night there.
