A full week on a dahabiya, sailing from Luxor to Aswan and back again. It is a round trip, so you start and finish in the same city, and it includes Abu Simbel. With only a few cabins on board, the pace is slow and the atmosphere personal.

Itinerary
Day 1: Board in Luxor, Karnak and Luxor Temple
We collect you from your Luxor hotel and take you to Karnak, then to the dahabiya for a welcome drink and lunch. In the evening you visit Luxor Temple, beautifully lit after dark.
Meals: Lunch, dinner. Overnight: dahabiya, Luxor.
Day 2: Sailing south
A day under sail towards Edfu, with lunch on deck and afternoon tea as the countryside drifts by.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: dahabiya.
Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo
A horse-drawn carriage takes you to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. After lunch you sail on past Kom Ombo towards Aswan.

Day 4: Abu Simbel
You drive to Abu Simbel to see the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, then return to the boat for tea and an evening of folklore and belly dancing.

Day 5: Aswan: the High Dam and Philae
You visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, and spend the afternoon relaxing on board.

Day 6: Kom Ombo, sailing north
The boat turns north. You visit the temple of Kom Ombo and continue past Edfu towards Luxor.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: dahabiya.
Day 7: Luxor West Bank
You visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon, then enjoy a last afternoon on board.

Day 8: Disembark in Luxor
After breakfast you check out and we take you anywhere in Luxor.
