Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and dinner cruise
Our representative meets you at the arrival gate, helps with the visa and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you can join a dinner cruise on the Nile with music and a folklore show.

Day 2: The pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your guide collects you from the hotel lobby for the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The day is paced for comfort, with time to sit and shade where it helps. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which has lifts, wide level galleries and seating throughout, and holds the full Tutankhamun collection.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor, Karnak and Luxor Temple, board your cruise
A short flight takes you to Luxor, where your Egyptologist meets you for Karnak, the largest place of worship ever built, and Luxor Temple. Then you board your 5-star Nile cruise for lunch and a quiet afternoon.

Day 4: The West Bank and sail to Edfu
After breakfast you cross to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Back on board, the ship sails south through the Esna lock while you have tea on the sun deck.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Day 6: Aswan
You visit the High Dam above Lake Nasser and take a short boat ride to Philae Temple, the temple of Isis rebuilt stone by stone on Agilkia Island. The afternoon is free on the sun deck.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise, Aswan.
Day 7: Abu Simbel and on to Hurghada
This is the one long day of the trip. After an early breakfast you leave the boat and drive with your guide to Abu Simbel, the two temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari that UNESCO moved in the 1960s. After lunch you continue by private car to Hurghada on the Red Sea, with rest stops on the way, and check in to your all-inclusive resort.

Day 8: Free day by the Red Sea
A day with nothing planned: the beach, the pool, a book under an umbrella.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star resort, Hurghada.
Day 9: Free day or a gentle excursion
Stay at the resort, or take an optional boat trip to the reefs or a semi-submarine ride to see the fish without getting wet.

Day 10: Fly to Cairo, the Citadel, the mummies and Khan el-Khalili
You fly from Hurghada to Cairo. Your guide takes you to the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque, then the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and its Royal Mummies Hall. After lunch you take a slow walk through Khan el-Khalili.

Day 11: Departure
After breakfast your driver takes you to Cairo airport.

How long is the Abu Simbel day?
It is long: about three hours each way between Aswan and Abu Simbel, then the drive on to Hurghada, with rest stops. If you prefer, we can fly you instead when schedules allow, or end the cruise with a flight to Hurghada and skip Abu Simbel.
Is this tour suitable for travelers with limited mobility?
