Six days devoted to Upper Egypt, where most of the great temples are. You start in Aswan, travel to Abu Simbel, drive north along the Nile past Kom Ombo and Edfu, spend three nights in Luxor and finish with Dendera and Abydos, two of the most beautiful temples in Egypt and two that most visitors miss. 5-star hotels, private guide and private car throughout.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Aswan, the High Dam and Philae
Your representative meets you at Aswan Airport. You visit the High Dam and take a boat to Agilkia Island for Philae Temple, the temple of Isis, then check in to your 5-star hotel by the Nile.
Meals: Lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Aswan.
Day 2: Abu Simbel
A private car takes you across the desert to Abu Simbel, where four colossal statues of Ramses II guard the Great Temple, beside the smaller temple of Queen Nefertari. You return to Aswan in the afternoon.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Aswan.
Day 3: Kom Ombo and Edfu on the way to Luxor
Day 4: Luxor West Bank
You go down into the painted tombs of the Valley of the Kings, then visit the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 5: Karnak and Luxor Temple
You spend the morning at Karnak, walking from the avenue of sphinxes to the Great Hypostyle Hall, and visit Luxor Temple in the late afternoon, when it is lit up.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 6: Dendera and Abydos, fly home
