Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and the sound and light show
We meet you inside Cairo airport and drive you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you watch the sound and light show at the pyramids, followed by dinner.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: The pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, with a short camel ride on the plateau. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and the full Tutankhamun collection.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 3: Fly to Hurghada
You fly to Hurghada on the Red Sea and spend the rest of the day at your hotel.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star resort, Hurghada.
Day 4: Free day in Hurghada
A free day for the beach, the pool or an optional snorkeling trip.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star resort, Hurghada.
Day 5: Drive to Luxor, both banks
A private car takes you to Luxor, about four hours. Your guide shows you the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, and after lunch Karnak.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 6: Edfu, Kom Ombo and on to Aswan
Day 7: Aswan
You visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, the temple of Isis moved by UNESCO to Agilkia Island.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Aswan.
Day 8: Fly to Cairo, the Citadel, Old Cairo and Khan el-Khalili
You fly back to Cairo. Your guide takes you to the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque, the Hanging Church in Coptic Cairo and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and you end the day in Khan el-Khalili and on Al-Muizz Street.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Final day: Departure
After breakfast your driver takes you to Cairo airport and our team helps you check in.
