Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and the sound and light show
We meet you at the gate, take you through the visa and luggage, and drive you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you watch the sound and light show at the pyramids and have dinner at a good Egyptian restaurant.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: Giza, a camel ride and Saqqara
Your private Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, with a camel ride on the plateau. After lunch you visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, designed by Imhotep and the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 3: The GEM, the Citadel and Khan el-Khalili
You start at the Grand Egyptian Museum, then visit the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Your guide can also take you to the royal mummies at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Final day: Departure
After a slow breakfast your driver takes you to Cairo airport and our team helps you check in.
