Twelve days for groups that see all of Egypt’s headline sights: three days in Cairo, Abu Simbel and a three-night Nile cruise to Luxor, then four nights on the Red Sea with snorkeling and a safari.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and the sound and light show
We meet the group at Cairo airport and drive you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you watch the sound and light show at the pyramids.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: The pyramids, Saqqara and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 3: Old Cairo
You visit Coptic Cairo and the Hanging Church, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 4: Fly to Aswan and board your cruise
You fly to Aswan, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple and board your 5-star cruise.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 5: Abu Simbel
You leave early with a breakfast box for the drive to Abu Simbel and back. The boat then sails toward Kom Ombo.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 6: Kom Ombo and Edfu
Day 7: Luxor and on to Hurghada
After breakfast you check out and visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon and Karnak and Luxor Temple, then drive to Hurghada.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 8: Snorkeling on the Red Sea
A boat takes you out to the reefs with a snorkeling instructor and lunch on board.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 9: Desert safari
You head into the Eastern Desert by quad bike, visit a Bedouin camp and watch the sunset.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 10: Free day in Hurghada
A day on your own by the sea or the pool.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 11: Fly to Cairo, Islamic Cairo
You fly back to Cairo. You visit the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then walk through Khan el-Khalili.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast we drive you to Cairo airport.
Meals: Breakfast.
