Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
A King Tut Tours representative meets you inside the airport, helps with your visa, passport control and luggage, and walks you out to your guide and private driver, who take you to your 5-star hotel. The evening is free, or you can join an optional Nile dinner cruise with a folklore show.
Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast your guide meets you in the lobby. At the Giza Plateau your driver takes you close to the Great Pyramid, the panorama point and the Sphinx, so there is little walking on sand. After lunch with a view of the pyramids, you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which has lifts, wide walkways and plenty of seating, to see the Tutankhamun galleries.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor, the West Bank and Karnak
A morning flight takes you to Luxor. You visit the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, and after lunch Karnak, with its Hypostyle Hall of 134 giant columns.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 4: Drive to Aswan, the High Dam and Philae
A private car takes you south along the Nile to Aswan, about three and a half hours. You visit the High Dam and, after lunch, take a boat to Philae Temple, rebuilt stone by stone on Agilkia Island.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Aswan.
Day 5: Fly to Cairo, the Citadel and Khan el-Khalili
A morning flight brings you back to Cairo. Your guide takes you to the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, with wide views over the city, then after lunch to Khan el-Khalili for spices, perfumes and souvenirs.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 6: Fly home
After breakfast and a relaxed check-out, your driver takes you to Cairo International Airport and our representative helps with check-in.

How much does the 6-day senior tour cost?
It depends on group size: $5,000 per person for a solo traveler, $4,000 each for 2 to 4, $3,000 for 5 to 10, $2,500 for 11 to 20 and $1,500 for 21 or more.
Is the Grand Egyptian Museum accessible?
Yes. It is a modern building with lifts, ramps and seating, which makes it one of the easiest major sites in Egypt for older travelers.
Can we fly from Luxor to Aswan instead of driving?
There are few direct flights, so the private car, about three and a half hours on a good road, is usually quicker and more comfortable.
Can you arrange a wheelchair?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we will arrange one at the airports and the sites where possible.
Are your tours suitable for seniors?
Yes. They are paced gently, with private transfers and flights.
