Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at Cairo International Airport with a name sign, helps with customs and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you join a Nile dinner cruise with an open buffet, a Tanoura whirling dance and a belly dance show, with the lights of Cairo along the river.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, fly to Luxor
Your private Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Plateau: the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure from the 4th Dynasty, six smaller queens’ pyramids, the Sphinx with the face of Khafre, and the granite Valley Temple. After lunch you visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. In the evening you fly to Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor East and West Banks
Your Egyptologist takes you to the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, with painted tombs cut deep into the hills, including Tutankhamun’s, the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch you cross to the East Bank for Karnak and Luxor Temple.

Day 4: Train to Aswan, the High Dam and Philae
A first-class train takes you south along the Nile to Aswan, about three hours. Your guide shows you the High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile flood, and takes you by boat to Philae Temple, the temple of Isis rescued by UNESCO and rebuilt on Agilkia Island. Lunch is at a restaurant overlooking the Nile, and the evening is free to explore the Aswan market.

Day 5: Abu Simbel, fly to Cairo
With a breakfast box from the hotel, you set off early with your guide by private car to Abu Simbel, the two temples Ramses II carved into the mountain in the 13th century BC for himself and his queen Nefertari. The whole complex was moved to higher ground in the 1960s in one of UNESCO’s greatest rescue projects. You return to Aswan for lunch and fly back to Cairo.

Day 6: Fly home
After breakfast our representative drives you to Cairo International Airport and helps with check-in.
