Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and the sound and light show
We meet the group at Cairo airport and drive you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you watch the sound and light show at the pyramids.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: The pyramids, Saqqara and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. In the evening you fly to Hurghada.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 3: Free day in Hurghada
A day on your own by the sea or the pool.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 4: Diving day
A boat day on the Red Sea with a diving instructor.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 5: Desert safari
You head into the Eastern Desert by quad bike, visit a Bedouin camp and watch the sunset.
Meals: All-inclusive. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Hurghada.
Day 6: Drive to Luxor and board your cruise
A private coach takes you about four hours to Luxor for Karnak and Luxor Temple, then you board your 5-star cruise.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 7: The West Bank
You visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 8: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Day 9: Aswan
You visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 10: Abu Simbel and fly to Cairo
You check out with a breakfast box and drive to Abu Simbel. In the evening you fly from Aswan to Cairo.

Day 11: Old Cairo
You visit Coptic Cairo and the Hanging Church, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Meals: Breakfast. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 12: Islamic Cairo
You visit the Citadel of Salah el-Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then walk through Khan el-Khalili.
Meals: Breakfast. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 13: Alexandria
You drive about three hours to Alexandria for the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, the Qaitbay Citadel and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, returning to Cairo in the evening.

Day 14: Departure
After breakfast we drive you to Cairo airport.
