Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at your arrival gate, helps with passport control, your visa and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with a buffet, a folk band and the whirling Tanoura dance.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum
Your private Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Plateau: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the queens’ pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After lunch you visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan, the High Dam and Philae, board the cruise
A morning flight takes you to Aswan. Your guide shows you the High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile flood, and takes you by boat to Philae Temple, the temple of Isis. Then you board your 5-star Nile cruise for lunch.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise, Aswan.
Day 4: Kom Ombo and Edfu
Day 5: Luxor, fly to Cairo
After breakfast you leave the ship and visit the Valley of the Kings, resting place of Ramses the Great and Tutankhamun, the Temple of Hatshepsut and Karnak. After lunch you fly back to Cairo.

Day 6: Day trip to Alexandria
After an early breakfast you drive with your guide to Alexandria. You explore the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, a three-level Roman necropolis from the 2nd century AD, Pompey’s Pillar, the Qaitbay Citadel on the site of the ancient lighthouse, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with lunch along the way. You return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 7: Fly home
After breakfast our representative takes you to Cairo International Airport and helps with check-in.

How much does the 7-day Cairo, Nile cruise and Alexandria tour cost?
It depends on group size: $6,500 per person for a solo traveler, $5,000 each for 2 to 3, $4,500 for 4 to 8, $4,000 for 9 to 15 and $3,000 for 16 or more.
How long is the Nile cruise?
You sail from Aswan to Luxor with two nights on board, visiting Philae, Kom Ombo and Edfu, then see Luxor's highlights before flying back to Cairo.
Can I add Abu Simbel?
Yes, on the morning of day 4 before the ship leaves Aswan, by road or by a short flight.
Can I make the cruise longer?
Yes. A 4-night cruise from Luxor to Aswan is available. Ask us for the adjusted itinerary.
