Tour Description
MS Farah is one of the most elegant ships on the Nile. Built in 2011 and carrying about 120 guests, she has spacious cabins of around 22 m² with floor-to-ceiling windows and French balconies, two Royal Suites, a sundeck pool, a gym with sauna and steam room, and free Wi-Fi. This 7-day tour puts you on board for the Aswan to Luxor cruise, with Cairo and Alexandria on either side.

The tour
You start with a Nile dinner cruise and a day at the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, fly to Aswan to board MS Farah, visit Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor, then return to Cairo for a day in Alexandria.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at your arrival gate, helps with passport control, your visa and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with a buffet, a folk band and the whirling Tanoura dance.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum
Your private Egyptologist takes you to the Giza Plateau: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the queens’ pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After lunch you visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan, the High Dam and Philae, board the cruise
A morning flight takes you to Aswan. Your guide shows you the High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile flood, and takes you by boat to Philae Temple, the temple of Isis. Then you board MS Farah for lunch.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise, Aswan.
Day 4: Kom Ombo and Edfu
Day 5: Luxor, fly to Cairo
After breakfast you leave the ship and visit the Valley of the Kings, resting place of Ramses the Great and Tutankhamun, the Temple of Hatshepsut and Karnak. After lunch you fly back to Cairo.

Day 6: Day trip to Alexandria
After an early breakfast you drive with your guide to Alexandria. You explore the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, a three-level Roman necropolis from the 2nd century AD, Pompey’s Pillar, the Qaitbay Citadel on the site of the ancient lighthouse, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with lunch along the way. You return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 7: Fly home
After breakfast our representative takes you to Cairo International Airport and helps with check-in.
