Itinerary
El Quseir city tour
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to El Quseir. In Ptolemaic times it was the Red Sea end of the caravan road through Wadi Hammamat from the Nile. Later the Ottoman sultan Selim fortified it, and for centuries it was a departure point for pilgrims sailing to Mecca. You visit the fortress, walk through the old town and the harbor, and return to your hotel.
