A diving day at Sataya Reef, the horseshoe-shaped reef south of Marsa Alam known as “Dolphin House” because spinner dolphins often rest in its lagoon. Boats leave from Hamata harbor, and the trip includes two dives, equipment and lunch on board.

Itinerary
Diving trip to Sataya Reef
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Hamata harbor: about 1 hour 20 minutes from Marsa Alam, 2 hours from Port Ghalib and 2 hours 45 minutes from El Quseir, so pick-up times vary. The boat takes you to Sataya Reef for two dives on coral gardens and walls, with a good chance of seeing spinner dolphins in the lagoon. Lunch is served on board before the return.
Duration: about 10 to 12 hours. Meals: Lunch.
