Kom Ombo Temple

Between 180 BC and 47 BC, during the Ptolemaic era, the exceedingly exotic double temple known as the "Kom Ombo Temple" was constructed as the place of worship for the Haroeris god Horus the Elder on the north and Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, on the south. The temple is a magnificent work of construction that displays wonderful carving and design that highlights numerous astronomical and medical facts from the time.

Join a Hot Air Balloon trip over Luxor's west bank for 45 minutes. (A request is required.) After breakfast, you'll meet your own Egyptologist tour guide to explore the ancient Egyptian sites along Luxor's east bank. Stops include:

Karnak temples 

Throughout its 2000-year history, the mystical Karnak temple has been known by a variety of names, including Ipet-isu, which means "The most select of sites" in the Middle Kingdom; Pr-Imn, which means "House of Amon," and the biggest and most ancient religious center on earth. To worship the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, construction took place on 247 acres of sacred ground between the years 2000 BC and 30 BC. The magnificent Luxor Temple, the Precinct of Amun-Re, the enormous hypostyle hall, and many other ancient structures are all connected to the temple complex by the Avenue of Sphinxes, a wonderful avenue of sphinxes.

Enjoy your breakfast while you cruise, then get ready to resume your itinerary for your 7-night Nile cruise with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor. The remarkable Valley of the Kings is a World Heritage Site that displays the ideals and way of thinking of the most advanced civilization in human history. There are 63 magical royal tombs of the great Pharaohs of the new empire (1570–1050) hidden deep behind the Theban necropolis hills. The magnificent Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC) was built of quartzite sandstone and was first discovered in 1350 BC. However, they have undergone numerous renovations throughout history. It features decorations on its sides that highlight his ancestry, accomplishments, and the representation of the Nile god Hapi.

Enjoy your breakfast as you sail to Edfu in the morning, then meet your tour guide to explore the temple of the ancient Egyptian god HorusThe Edfu Temple is a magnificent work of mythology that has maintained the memory of a valiant conflict that determined the fate of the entire universe. It was constructed on the west bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt between 237 BC and 57 BC, roughly 60 km north of Aswan, and it is currently one of the best preserved in Egypt. is thought to have been constructed on the same site where Set and Horus engaged in combat.
Return to the ship for lunch and dinner, then keep sailing toward Aswan. On the cruise ship for the night.

Abu Simbel Temples

Early in the morning, get your breakfast boxes, and we'll drive you in a private A/C vehicle to the southwest of Aswan to see the stunning King Tut temple. The Holy Temples of Abu Simbel stand as a magnificent representation of majesty and grace. It was constructed around 1200 B.C. by Pharaoh Ramses the Great to glorify Amun, Ra, and Ptah and to display his military prowess, particularly during the Battle of Kadesh. The big sun celebration, which takes place on October 22nd, was centered in the magnificent temple of King Ramses II. The second temple is devoted to his stunning wife Queen Nefertari, and it is opened in February of every year.
Following that, we will return you to the cruise where you will have lunch, supper, and overnight accommodations.
