Tour Description
Luxor in one private day: the tombs and temples of the West Bank in the morning, the great temples of the East Bank in the afternoon, with lunch in between. Your Egyptologist and air-conditioned car are yours alone, and we pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise.

Itinerary
Full-day private tour of Luxor's East and West Banks
After breakfast your Egyptologist picks you up and drives you across the river to the West Bank. In the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs were buried from about 1550 BC, your ticket includes three tombs. You continue to the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut and stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
After lunch at a good local restaurant you visit Karnak, the largest temple complex in the world, and Luxor Temple, where Amun was celebrated each year at the Opet festival. You are back at your hotel in the late afternoon.

How much does the full-day Luxor tour cost?
It depends on group size: $200 (1 person), $140 (2 people), $125 (3 to 4 people), $115 (5 to 8 people), $95 (9 to 15 people) per person. Lunch, entrance fees and your private guide are included.
Can I see Tutankhamun's tomb?
Yes, with an extra ticket bought at the Valley of the Kings. Your guide will advise which tombs are open that day.
What should I wear?
Light clothes, a hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes. The Valley of the Kings gets very hot by midday, so we start early.
Can you pick us up from a Nile cruise ship?
Yes. We collect you from any hotel or cruise ship in Luxor.
