Our private 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, with nothing left out. You have your own Egyptologist and private transfers, and Abu Simbel, a sunrise balloon flight over Luxor and a Nubian village visit are all included. Five days, every major temple between Luxor and Aswan, and no optional extras to add up.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Luxor, Karnak and Luxor Temple, board the cruise
Our representative meets you at Luxor Airport, the train station or the bus station. With your Egyptologist you visit Karnak, the temple of Amun, Mut and Khonsu, built between about 2055 BC and the Roman period and still the largest religious complex ever made, and Luxor Temple. Then you board your 5-star Nile cruise.
Meals: Lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise, Luxor.
Day 2: Hot air balloon and the Luxor West Bank
With a breakfast box, you rise over Luxor in a hot air balloon to watch the sun come up. Your Egyptologist then takes you to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise.
Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Day 4: Abu Simbel and a Nubian village
An early private drive with your guide to Abu Simbel, about 280 km south of Aswan in old Nubia, to see the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. After lunch back on board, a boat takes you to a Nubian village for tea and a look at Nubian life and crafts.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: Nile cruise, Aswan.
Day 5: The High Dam and Philae, disembark in Aswan
After breakfast you check out and visit the High Dam, begun in 1960 to end the Nile flood, then ride a motorboat to Agilkia Island for Philae Temple, the Greco-Roman temple of Isis. We then take you to your hotel, the airport or the station in Aswan.

How much does the private 4-night cruise cost?
From $4,000 per person sharing a cabin from May to September, and $6,000 per person from October to April. Single travelers pay $6,000 in summer and $8,000 in winter.
Is the 4-night cruise better than the 3-night?
The 4-night cruise from Luxor to Aswan gives you an extra day on the river and more relaxed sightseeing. The 3-night cruise from Aswan covers the same sites in less time.
Where does the cruise start and end?
It starts in Luxor, where we meet you at the airport or station, and ends in Aswan, where we drop you at your hotel, the airport or the station.
What is included at Abu Simbel?
A private air-conditioned car, your Egyptologist, the entrance ticket and a breakfast box for the early start.
How long is a Nile cruise?
Usually four nights from Luxor or three nights from Aswan. Dahabiyas take four to five nights.
