the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu). It is certainly one of the most important monuments of ancient Egypt. A masterpiece of fabricated structure and architecture, you will be overwhelmed by the huge size of its blocks, the height, and the age that exceeded 4,600 years.

While you stare at this great monument, your guide will explain fully the history of the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions, and give you free time for photography. You will have the chance to take pictures of the area including all the pyramids from the panorama area.

You will spend a long time in the area so that you can have enough time to enter the chamber of the Great Pyramid. We will do a private visit to the Osirian shaft, located under the causeway of the second pyramid.

From inside the Valley Temple, we will enter a shortcut to the Sphinx. Moving to the Sphinx area, you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh, as it was carved with a lion’s body and the head of the pharaoh.

Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the Valley Temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt as part of your Spiritual tour package.

we will leave the cruise for our last Check out from the cruise and drive to Abu Simbel. The name refers to two massive rock temples (the Great Temple of Ramses II and the smaller Temple of Hathor) in Abu Simbel in Nubia, southern Egypt, on the western bank of Lake Nasser, about 230 km southwest of Aswan. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known

as the “Nubian Monuments,” which runs from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors.

The temples were relocated in 1968 onto an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir, to prevent them from being submerged by Lake Nasser.

Descend below ground to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall. Back above ground, continue to Pompey’s Pillar, an 82-foot (25-meter) granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to its starving people.

Sakkara, the main necropolis of the Old Kingdom era. It is a great archaeological site where the famous and multi-titled architect Imhotep built the oldest pyramid in Egypt. The first stone structure, dating back 4,800 years,

was erected in the form of huge solid steps placed on top of each other—hence the suitable name, the Step Pyramid. Within the complex, you will learn about the development of the royal tomb structure and the evolution of pyramid construction.

You will visit the tombs of the nobles, including the tomb of Kagmini, to see murals reflecting daily life activities in ancient Egypt. Moreover,

you will have the chance to enter the Pyramid of Teti, where you can see the oldest form of the pyramid texts carved on the chamber walls, dating back around 4,340 years.

Bent Pyramid

Next, stop at Dahshor, an archaeological site located about five miles from Sakkara. There are three pyramids in this less-visited area: the Bent Pyramid and the Red (North) Pyramid, both belonging to Pharaoh Snefru, founder of the 4th Dynasty, while the third pyramid belongs to his wife, Queen Hetepheres.

Here, you will visit the Bent Pyramid, which was the first attempt to develop the shape of the Step Pyramids. This pyramid is fascinating with its unique two-level form and well-preserved smooth casing layer. Walk around the pyramid and view the small pyramid of the queen.

Then continue to the Red Pyramid, the first true and complete pyramid in ancient Egypt. You will learn more about the development of royal tomb architecture during the Old Kingdom and have the opportunity to enter the chamber, experiencing the narrow passage that leads inside.
