Ghosts and mysteries of Alexandria
Your guide collects you from your hotel and introduces Alexandria’s darker history: plagues, sieges, fires and the old houses that grew legends around them. You walk through the gardens of Montaza, once the playground of Egypt’s royal family, and then follow a maze of old streets through the historic downtown, stopping at buildings and corners with a story to tell. It is a fully narrated walk, best enjoyed in the evening.
