Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Aswan, Philae and the High Dam, train to Luxor
You fly from Cairo to Aswan. Your guide takes you to Philae Temple and the High Dam, completed in 1971. After lunch you take the train to Luxor and check in to your hotel.
Meals: Lunch. Overnight: hotel, Luxor.
Day 2: Balloon flight, Luxor and back to Cairo
At dawn you float over the West Bank in a hot air balloon for about 45 minutes. Then you visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon and Karnak, with lunch at a Nile-view restaurant, before flying back to Cairo.
