Itinerary
Luxor day trip from Cairo by plane
We collect you from your Cairo hotel for the early flight to Luxor, about an hour. Your private Egyptologist meets you at Luxor Airport and starts with Karnak, the temple the Egyptians called Ipet-isut, “the most select of places”. After lunch at a good restaurant and a short motorboat ride across the Nile, you visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, whose quartzite was brought some 700 km from near Cairo. In the evening you fly back to Cairo and we drive you to your hotel.

How much is the Luxor day trip from Cairo by plane?

How long is the flight from Cairo to Luxor?
About one hour each way.
Can I add a balloon flight?

Is one day enough for Cairo?
One day covers the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Two or three days lets you add Saqqara, Old Cairo and Islamic Cairo.
