Tour Description
A short, efficient introduction to Egypt: one full day in Cairo at the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and one full day in Luxor on both banks of the Nile, with return flights so you sleep in the same Cairo hotel every night. It suits travelers on a tight schedule or adding Egypt to a trip elsewhere.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
Our representative meets you at Cairo Airport and drives you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned car.
Overnight: Cairo hotel.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum
We pick you up at 8:00 AM for the Giza Pyramids: Khufu, the largest pyramid ever built, Khafre and Menkaure. You see the Valley Temple, where Khafre’s body was prepared for burial, and the Sphinx that guards his causeway. Then you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum for the treasures of Tutankhamun.
Meals: Breakfast. Overnight: Cairo hotel.
Day 3: Day trip to Luxor by air
An early flight takes you to Luxor, where your Egyptologist waits outside arrivals with your name. On the West Bank you visit the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, and on the East Bank Karnak and Luxor Temple. In the evening you fly back to Cairo.
Meals: Breakfast. Overnight: Cairo hotel.
Day 4: Departure
Breakfast and check-out at 12:00 PM. Our representative takes you to the airport whenever your flight leaves, day or night.

How much does the 4-day Cairo and Luxor tour cost?
From $1,500 per person sharing a double room from May to September, and $2,500 per person from October to April. Single travelers pay $2,000 in summer and $3,000 in winter.
Can I really see Luxor in one day?
You can see its four most important sites in one well-planned day: the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak and Luxor Temple. Flights at both ends make it possible.
Can I stay overnight in Luxor instead?
Yes. We can swap one Cairo night for a Luxor hotel, which allows a more relaxed day and a sunrise balloon flight.
Is lunch included?
The package includes breakfast. Your guide will take you to a good local restaurant for lunch, which you pay for directly.
