Tour Description
Six days split between Cairo’s monuments and the Red Sea. You see the pyramids, both of Cairo’s great museums and the historic mosques and streets of Old Cairo, and in the middle you fly to Hurghada for two nights by the sea and a snorkeling trip on the reefs.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, helps with passport control and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with live folk music, a belly dance performance and the whirling Tanoura dance.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Your private guide takes you to the Giza Plateau: three great pyramids, six queens’ pyramids, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and the treasures of Tutankhamun.

Day 3: Fly to Hurghada
A morning flight takes you to Hurghada on the Red Sea. The rest of the day is free at your 5-star hotel.

Day 4: Snorkeling in the Red Sea
A boat takes you out to the reefs to snorkel among corals and tropical fish in some of the clearest water in the world.

Day 5: Fly to Cairo, the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo
You fly back to Cairo in the morning. Your guide takes you to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, open since 1902, and after lunch to the Mosque of Amr ibn al-As, the first mosque in Africa, and Al-Muizz Street, a long open-air museum of medieval Islamic architecture.

Day 6: Fly home
After breakfast we take you to Cairo Airport for your flight home.

How much is the 6-day Cairo and Hurghada package?
It depends on group size: $4,500 per person for a solo traveler, $4,000 each for two, $3,850 for 3 to 4, $3,350 for 5 to 8 and $2,850 for 9 to 15.
Can I stay longer in Hurghada?
Yes. Extra beach nights are easy to add before the flight back to Cairo.
Is the Egyptian Museum still worth visiting after the Grand Egyptian Museum?
Yes. Many masterpieces remain in the Tahrir Square museum, and its historic building is a sight in itself.
What is the water temperature in Hurghada?
Around 22°C (72°F) in winter and up to 28°C (82°F) in late summer, so snorkeling is possible all year.
Is Egypt good for families?
Yes. History, boats, camels and beaches keep all ages happy.
