Itinerary
Drive to Luxor
Your private car collects you from your Hurghada hotel at 5:00 AM and drives you across the Eastern Desert to Luxor.
Karnak and lunch
Your Egyptologist meets you in Luxor and starts with Karnak, a place of pilgrimage for nearly 2,000 years. Then you stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
The Valley of the Kings
You cross the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, chosen by the New Kingdom pharaohs partly because of the pyramid-shaped peak that rises above it.
The Temple of Hatshepsut
Next is the Temple of Hatshepsut, the woman who ruled as pharaoh for about 20 years, with its three terraces set against the cliffs.
The Colossi of Memnon
A last stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the two seated statues of Amenhotep III that once guarded his memorial temple.
Back to Hurghada
Your driver takes you back to your hotel in Hurghada.
