Itinerary
Fly to Cairo
We drive you from your hotel to Hurghada Airport for the early flight to Cairo, where your private Egyptologist meets you.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
You start at the Grand Egyptian Museum, with its Tutankhamun galleries and thousands of objects in gold, stone and wood.
The Giza Pyramids
Then the Giza Pyramids, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu stood 147 meters high, the tallest building on earth for some 3,800 years; the Sphinx, 73 meters long and about 20 meters high, known in antiquity as Hor-em-akhet, “Horus of the Horizon”; and the Valley Temple, where the king’s body was prepared for burial.
The Sphinx and lunch
After the Sphinx you have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the pyramids or the Nile.
Fly back to Hurghada
Your driver takes you to Cairo Airport for the evening flight back, and we drive you from Hurghada Airport to your hotel.

How long is the flight?
About one hour each way.
Why fly instead of drive?
The road takes about six hours each way. Flying gives you far more time in Cairo and a less tiring day.
