Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, helps with passport control and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with live folk music, a belly dance performance and the whirling Tanoura dance.
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Saqqara and the Grand Egyptian Museum, fly to Luxor
Your guide takes you to the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, then to Saqqara for the Step Pyramid of Djoser, and to the Grand Egyptian Museum. In the evening you fly to Luxor and check in to your 5-star hotel.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor, fly back to Cairo
A full day in Luxor. You visit Karnak, the temple of Amun, Mut and Khonsu, then cross to the West Bank, where the Colossi of Memnon have stood for 3,400 years, carved from quartzite brought some 675 km from near Cairo. After lunch you fly back to Cairo.

Day 4: Day trip to Alexandria
You drive north to Alexandria, the pearl of the Mediterranean. You go down into the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, a 2nd-century tomb where Egyptian, Greek and Roman art meet, and see the city’s other landmarks, ending at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern library built in honor of the ancient one. You return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 5: Fly home
After breakfast our representative helps you with departure formalities at Cairo Airport.

How much does the 5-day Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria tour cost?
It depends on group size: $4,500 per person for a solo traveler, $4,000 each for two, $3,800 for 3 to 4, $3,500 for 5 to 8 and $2,000 for 9 to 15. Entrance fees of about $500 per person are paid separately.
How far is Alexandria from Cairo?
About three hours by road on the desert highway.
Is it worth adding Alexandria to an Egypt trip?
Yes, if you want to see a different side of Egypt. Alexandria is a Greco-Roman, Mediterranean city with a completely different feel from Cairo and Luxor.
Can I spend more time in Luxor?
Yes. We can add a night in Luxor for a slower day and a sunrise balloon flight.
Are your tours suitable for seniors?
