Five days with 5-star hotels, flights and the biggest highlights of Cairo and Aswan, including Abu Simbel. You start with a Nile dinner cruise, spend a full day at Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara, then fly south for Philae and the temples of Ramses II.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, helps with passport control and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with a buffet and a Tanoura whirling dance show.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara
Your guide takes you to the Giza Plateau: three great pyramids, six smaller queens’ pyramids, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. You then visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the 11-meter statue of Ramses II, the Hanging Obelisk and the complete Tutankhamun collection await. After lunch you drive to Saqqara for the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan, the High Dam and Philae
After breakfast you fly to Aswan and meet your Egyptologist. You visit the High Dam, begun in 1960, and take a motorboat to Agilkia Island for Philae Temple, the Greco-Roman temple of Isis, mother of Horus.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Aswan.
Day 4: Abu Simbel and fly to Cairo
An early start with a breakfast box and a private air-conditioned car to Abu Simbel, in old Nubia, to see the temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. After lunch in Aswan you fly back to Cairo.

Day 5: Fly home
After breakfast our representative takes you to the airport for your flight home.

FAQs
How much does the 5-day Cairo, Aswan and Abu Simbel tour cost?
It depends on group size: $2,000 per person for a solo traveler, $1,800 each for two, $1,550 for 3 to 4, $1,400 for 5 to 8, $1,250 for 9 to 15 and $900 for larger groups. Entrance fees of about $250 per person are paid separately.
Why are entrance fees not included?
Ticket prices at Egyptian sites change often, so on this tour we list them separately to keep the package price low. Your guide buys the tickets for you on the day.
Can I add Luxor?
Yes. We can add a night in Luxor and the train from Aswan, or switch to a version with a Nile cruise.
Is Abu Simbel a long trip?
About three and a half hours each way by road from Aswan, with roughly two hours at the temples.
