Tour Description
Pyramids and the Red Sea in five days. You see Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara with a guide, then fly to Hurghada for a day of snorkeling on the coral reefs and an afternoon desert safari, before flying back to Cairo. It is a short break that mixes history, sea and sand.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and Nile dinner cruise
A King Tut Tours representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, helps with passport control and luggage, and drives you to your 5-star hotel. In the evening you board a Nile dinner cruise with a buffet and a Tanoura whirling dance show.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara
Your guide takes you to the Giza Plateau: three great pyramids, six smaller queens’ pyramids, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. You then visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the 11-meter statue of Ramses II, the Hanging Obelisk and the complete Tutankhamun collection await. After lunch you drive to Saqqara for the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built. In the evening you fly to Hurghada on the Red Sea.

Day 3: Snorkeling in the Red Sea
A boat takes you out to the reefs off Hurghada for snorkeling among corals and tropical fish, with lunch and soft drinks on board.

Day 4: Desert safari and fly to Cairo
You head into the desert behind Hurghada on a safari, then we take you to the airport for your flight to Cairo and your 5-star hotel.

After breakfast we take you to Cairo International Airport, where our representative helps with departure.

How long is the flight from Cairo to Hurghada?
About one hour. Driving takes around five to six hours, which is why flights are included.
Do I need to know how to swim to snorkel?
Basic swimming helps, but life jackets are available and the crew looks after beginners.
