Arrival to Luxor

Jabal el silsila
this site provided numerous stone quarries on both the west and east sides of the Nile. the site contains many shrines erected by officials who would have been in charge of quarrying the stone. almost all of ancient Egypt’s great temples derived their sandstone from here.

Kom Ombo temple
Between 180 BC and 47 BC, during the Ptolemaic era, the exceedingly exotic double temple known as the “Kom Ombo Temple” was constructed as the place of worship for the Haroeris god Horus the Elder on the north and Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, on the south.
The temple is a magnificent work of construction that displays wonderful carving and design that highlights numerous astronomical and medical facts from the time.
At the end of the day enjoy sailing to Aswan, lunch & dinner be served onboard the boat
High dam of Aswan
Between the 1960s and 1970s, the magnificent Aswan High Dam was built to have a good effect. on the enormous nation of Egypt’s economy and culture to bring Egypt into the industrial age.
Philae – Isis temple
dedicated to Isis’s love and beauty goddess, the temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Angelika island as part of the UNESCO Nubia campaign project protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam. At the end of the day, you will go back to the Nile cruise Dahabiya.
